- The Top Ten Things You Should Know About Me: 10. I grew up in the middle of a cornfield - or soybean field (on alternate years). 9. I lived in Nashville, Tennessee for 10 years. 8. I thought I was going to be a history teacher by the time I turned 40. 7. I've been a full-time worship minister since January 2004. 6. I played guitar professionally for 2 years back in the late 80's. (If I hear "Addicted to Love" I become violently ill.) 5. I enjoy cooking and like to think that I’m pretty good at it. 4. I'm an only child, born to parents who were married for 23 years before I came along. 3. I have the two smartest, funniest, sweetest daughters in the history of the universe. 2. I'm married to my best friend - and she's way hot! (I'm pretty shallow sometimes.) 1. Most significantly, I am a follower of Jesus.
